Huge congratulations to Aimee & Kathryn for developing a totally unique and creative resource for exploring the oftentimes difficult subject of death and dying and the journey towards that time.

The title alone “Between Now and Then: Exploring life, death and everything in between” tantalises one immediately and the presentation of the cards in their soft cloth bag is both intriguing and soothing at once.

During my life I have been faced with both sudden death and palliative care situations of people close to me. In some of these early situations I had literally zero underpinning knowledge of the practicalities involved. It was also incredibly difficult to access resources to support my emotional needs. This resource is a game-changer. It supports conversations across a wide audience with different needs and in ways that are practical, creative and thought provoking.

As an individual picking up these cards, it is impossible not to go somewhere with them. I found myself having some inner conversations as I explored each question. I also found that it promoted some more intimate conversations with my husband about practicalities and emotional considerations about death & dying for both of us. I believe the cards will be absolutely invaluable as part of a toolbox that can be used by family, friends, counsellors or other professionals.

This resource exudes thoughtfulness & immense empathy. It is clear that there was extensive consideration given to the conversation starter questions posed and the possible avenues that can be explored as we
